Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or continuous improvement engineering experience.
• No relocation offered; Greenwood, SC area within 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly processes, tooling and fixturing design and applications.
• Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing procedures and processes through improved layout and material handling.
• Train factory operators in the use of equipment, tooling and procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee changes and upgrades to the manufacturing facility.
• Lead Shop Floor and Rapid Improvement Events to achieve factory cost-out targets.
• Conduct line capacity analyses and lead labor productivity improvements.
• Specify, design, install, and maintain equipment for use in manufacturing.
• Write capital appropriations (CAR) for new equipment with SCM team and manage related documentation.
• Support MES implementation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Provide cross-functional support to other key plant processes.
