Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is hiring an Operator 3, Bakery-Warehouse at our Cayce facility. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and support efficient warehouse operations, including movement, transactions, and storage of ingredients and finished goods.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment, and weekend availability. Second shift hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with standard safety and GMP practices in place.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience.
• Experience using computer systems and inventory management software.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with/without accommodation.
• Able to work in freezer environments and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Must be 18+ and able to work weekends, holidays, overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through transactions, reconciliations, and system updates.
• Operate material-handling equipment to move, store, retrieve, and stage ingredients and finished goods.
• Support production by supplying materials and returning unused inventory to storage.
• Validate product inventories for accurate counts, labeling, and traceability.
• Execute inventory control activities including cycle counts and audits.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse areas and audit-ready conditions.
• Follow safety, GMP, food safety, and operational requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery- Warehouse to join our team at our Cayce bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery-Warehouse, you will be accountable for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations through product movement, inventory transactions, and storage activities. This role is vital to ensuring product traceability, inventory integrity, and operational readiness in a fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment.

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 2 pm-10:30 pm
• Weekend Availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Maintain accurate inventory records through inventory transactions, reconciliations, and system updates.
• Operate material-handling equipment to safely move, store, retrieve, and stage ingredients and finished goods.
• Support production operations by supplying materials, filling ingredient hoppers, and returning unused inventory to warehouse storage.
• Validate product inventories to ensure accurate counts, proper labeling, and product traceability.
• Execute inventory control activities including cycle counts, audits, and FEFO-directed material movements.
• Maintain warehouse areas in a clean, organized, and audit-ready condition.
• Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, and operational requirements to support warehouse and production performance.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience.
• Experience using computer systems and inventory management software.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in freezer environments and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and climbing throughout the shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and other business-driven schedules.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Two years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience using SAP for inventory management and warehouse transactions.
• Documented training or certification on forklifts, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, or related material-handling equipment.
• Experience supporting inventory audits and cycle counting activities.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills in a fast-paced production environment.
