Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Cayce, SC is seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Production to join our team. You will operate production and packaging equipment, supporting safe, efficient bakery operations and helping maintain product quality and food safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic reading/writing and math skills, and a willingness to work weekends and overtime. Teamwork, reliability, and pride in craftsmanship are valued.

• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 1, Bakery-Production, you will be accountable for operating production and packaging equipment while supporting safe, efficient bakery operations. This role is essential to maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, and achieving daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate production and packaging equipment to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with established specifications and standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP and food safety requirements.
• Identify and communicate food safety, quality, maintenance, and production concerns promptly.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety procedures to ensure product integrity.
• Support production schedules and running orders to maximize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production, safety, and quality objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and operational needs.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team environment.
