Job summary

PRC Resources is seeking a Business Systems Manager to evaluate, optimize, and implement the business systems that support a fast-paced ready-mix operation. This role bridges business operations, technology, vendors, and leadership to drive training, reporting, and effective configurations across teams.

The candidate will lead system selections, gather requirements, coordinate vendor demos, and drive adoption through training and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in business systems, implementations, analysis, or related roles.
• Experience in operational, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments.
• Experience with ERP, dispatch, fleet, accounting, or workflow systems.
• Ability to determine if technology, training, reporting, or configuration solves business problems.
• Experience leading software implementations and working with vendors.
• Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to translate needs into system requirements and practical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess current systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with leadership to understand challenges and root causes of issues.
• Determine whether improvements require training, process changes, configuration, or new solutions.
• Develop recommendations and implementation plans based on needs, cost, and scalability.
• Continuously evaluate system effectiveness and drive adoption and performance.
• Provide troubleshooting, training, and best practices for end users.
• Design reports and dashboards to deliver meaningful leadership information.
• Improve data quality, system consistency, and reporting accuracy.
• Lead system evaluations and implementations with vendor coordination.
• Gather requirements and coordinate demonstrations, selections, and rollout.
• Manage post-implementation issues and ongoing optimization.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders on priorities and progress.
• Drive continuous improvement and strong partnerships with teams.
