Role Description

We are looking for a high-capacity operational leader who thrives on creating order from complexity, building scalable systems, and improving how work gets done.

This is not a traditional project management position.

This is a leadership-track opportunity designed for someone who wants to become the operational leader of a growing organization.

You will work directly with the President to lead process improvement initiatives, drive software and technology implementations, develop operational metrics, and help prepare the organization for its next stage of growth. Over time, this role will assume increasing operational leadership responsibility as part of a planned succession strategy. The company has identified leadership development, operational systems, accountability systems, and succession planning as key strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead Operational Improvement

• Analyze and improve business processes across departments
• Eliminate inefficiencies and bottlenecks
• Build scalable workflows that support growth
• Create standard operating procedures and documentation

Drive Technology & Software Initiatives

• Lead implementation of ERP, CRM, project management, service, and operational software platforms
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Manage user adoption, training, and change management
• Ensure technology investments generate measurable business value

Build Management Systems

• Develop KPI dashboards and operational scorecards
• Improve reporting and visibility across departments
• Create accountability systems that support execution
• Provide leadership with actionable operational insights

Support Project & Service Operations

• Improve project delivery workflows
• Assist with resource planning and capacity management
• Standardize operational processes

Develop into Operational Leadership

• Work closely with the current Operations leadership team
• Learn key systems, workflows, and business processes
• Participate in planning and leadership meetings
• Progress into broader operational leadership responsibility over time

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations, business systems, process improvement, project management, or related leadership roles
• Experience leading operational improvement initiatives
• Experience implementing or managing business software systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
