Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Support Specialist located in Phoenix, AZ, Memphis, TN or Greer, SC.

Plan, assign, and coordinate loads for company drivers and owner-operators based on hours of service, equipment availability, and customer requirements.

Monitor load progress and make real-time adjustments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.

Collaborate closely with Driver Leaders, Customer Service, Fleet Operations, and other planners to maintain alignment and address service challenges.

Maximize trailer utilization and minimize empty miles through strategic freight assignment.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date planning data in transportation systems (e.g., AS400).

Communicate clearly with drivers and internal teams to ensure freight expectations are understood and met.

Identify and resolve conflicts or issues such as driver availability, equipment constraints, or load delays.

Participate in planning meetings and performance reviews to improve process efficiency.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations preferred.

Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Working knowledge of transportation management systems (AS400 experience preferred).

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours of Service rules.
