The Opportunity

Reporting to our Platform Support Team Lead, we're looking for an Operations Support Specialist for the team that delivers post-implementation support for our platform and the tools it integrates with. This person will be the first point of contact and work closely with customers and engineers from various delivery teams to ensure maximum uptime for customers on our platform. They will deliver world-class customer service when handling support tickets and constantly look for ways to contribute to improving the efficiency of the support team and respond to incidents. They will be responsible for creating repeatable processes and procedures and automating operations where possible to minimize human error and move towards a self-healing environment with automatic recovery. The work will involve using a variety of tools to address issues related to both cloud and DevOps specific challenges as projects progress through their lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated software and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Assist in configuring and supporting customer environments, code deployments, and tool support.
  • Manage monitoring and logging solutions, proactively identify issues, and mitigate them to enhance customer experience.
  • Support other team members in improving support capabilities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our managed services practice.
  • Ensure engineering materials are consistently improved and delivered.
  • Explore and evaluate new and emerging software tools and technologies.

What You'll Bring

  • 1+ years of practical experience, preferably with AWS certification. Experience with Jenkins, Git, or Atlassian is a plus.
  • Exposure to automation tools and end-to-end build and deployment processes, including:
    • Linux or Windows administration in high availability environments.
    • Continuous integration best practices and tools like Jenkins.
    • Managing and supporting AWS or other cloud environments.
    • Configuration management, performance monitoring, and alerting tools.
  • A results-driven, customer-focused attitude.
  • Self-motivated team player.
  • Curiosity and passion for new technologies.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and participate in after-hours on-call.
