Job summary

HireArt is assisting its client in Austin, TX to fill an Operations Support Associate role. This onsite position focuses on customer service and vehicle readiness, supporting the rental process from check-in to vehicle preparation.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of in-person customer service experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. This part-time, 3-month contract offers benefits through HireArt and opportunities to extend based on performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
• Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
• Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.
• Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
• Complete daily rental operations tasks.
• Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.
• Maintain the company’s service standards when interacting with drivers.
• Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.
• Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.

Expected compensation: 20.00 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping our client find an Operations Support Associate to join its designated market team.

In this role, you’ll provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness.

The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable delivering hands‑on support in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Customer Service and Vehicle Processing:

• Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
• Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
• Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.

Operational Support

• Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
• Complete daily rental operations tasks.
• Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.

Standards And Communication

• Maintain the company’s service standards when interacting with drivers.
• Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in an in‑person customer service role (e.g., retail, technical support, hospitality)
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license; satisfactory driving record; and insurable under the company’s policy
• Familiarity with the local market area
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain patience, de‑escalate situations, and work effectively in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to handle prolonged standing and walking

This is a part-time, 3-month contract position staffed via HireArt, expected to end on December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
