Job summary

The Simplot Company in Idaho is seeking an Operations Support team member to deliver products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. You will blend fertilizer, apply chemicals to farms, and operate heavy equipment as needed.

This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package, seasonal overtime opportunities, and a safety-focused culture. A Class A CDL is required with HazMat endorsements preferred; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required for the role.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred or obtainable within 6 months.
• 1+ years of related experience in agriculture or equipment operation.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you'll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.

What You Bring

• Class A CDL required.
