Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Engagement Manager in the Operations Supply Chain practice, working across Chicago and multiple U.S. locations to help clients improve cost efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize operating models.

You will lead workstreams, mentor teams, and contribute to proposals and client development. The role emphasizes strategic problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering tangible improvements in manufacturing, planning, procurement, logistics and distribution

Qualifications

4-7+ years of consulting experience in operations.
Experience across operations domains: product development, planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, distribution.
Strong problem structuring and analytical skills; ability to work under ambiguity and lead others.

Responsibilities

Manage the execution of project workstreams, develop hypotheses, oversee data collection, model creation and analyses.
Synthesize findings from interviews, client sessions and research into presentations; review with clients and stakeholders.
Support Partner group with accurate, high-quality project delivery.
Manage a team of 2-4 consultants daily; Principals may oversee 6-8 consultants and senior client stakeholders.
Develop proposals and actively lead or participate in business development and pitching.
