Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a front‑line supervisor to lead and train product‑line personnel at our Tennessee branch. You will drive a safety‑first culture, manage driver scheduling, and resolve issues to ensure reliable, professional waste services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in waste or transportation industry and/or driving trucks preferred.
• At least one year supervisory experience OR one year as a GFL Environmental Lead Driver required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train and discipline all product line personnel.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems as they arise.
• Ensure proper completion of driver paperwork including logs and inspections.
• Ensure proper scheduling of drivers and toter/helpers.
• Monitor customer satisfaction by ensuring daily routes and pickups; resolve issues.
• Direct collection and disposal services to optimize personnel and equipment.
• Establish and review productivity standards at each operation phase.
• Be familiar with CDL driver regulations and ensure compliance.
• Record productivity data daily in the operating system.
• Maintain inventory of supplies with GM approval.
