Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a capable supervisor to recruit, interview, hire, train, and discipline product line personnel. You will ensure proper paperwork for drivers, schedule drivers and toter/helpers, and monitor route performance.

The role emphasizes safety, CDL compliance, daily productivity tracking, and collaboration with the Facility/General Manager to maintain supplies and sustain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior waste/transportation experience and/or truck driving preferred.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience or 1 year as a GFL Lead Driver required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train and discipline all product line personnel.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems as they arise.
• Ensure proper paperwork for drivers including truck reports, driver logs and vehicle inspections daily.
• Ensure proper scheduling of drivers and toter/helpers.
• Monitor daily routes and customer satisfaction; resolve complaints.
• Direct collection and disposal services to optimize personnel and equipment.
• Establish productivity standards at each operation phase.
• Be familiar with and ensure compliance with CDL driver regulations.
• Enter product line productivity into the operating system daily.
• Maintain inventory of safety supplies with GM approval.
