Job summary

Design Within Reach, part of MillerKnoll, is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Batavia, OH site. You will lead daily shift activities to meet safety, quality, and service targets while coordinating inventory and staffing.

This role requires strong leadership, multitasking, and effective communication across teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of operations management in a warehouse/distribution setting, with equipment familiarity (forklift) and solid Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in warehouse or distribution operations.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds consistently.
• Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.
• MS Excel and Word proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shift activities to meet safety, quality, customer service, and cost objectives.
• Manage warehouse inventory, shipping, and receiving metrics to achieve goals.
• Develop and coach the team to meet or exceed performance targets.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in internal/external audits.
