Job summary

FedEx is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and manage a staff responsible for safe, efficient package sortation.

You will oversee hiring, training, coaching, and performance management while ensuring compliance with FXG policies, training requirements, and government regulations. The role includes leadership of daily briefings and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or an Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses toward a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Six (6) months experience in package handling or supervisory experience in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Lead meetings and communicate operational updates and daily goals.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
• Train new employees on job duties and performance expectations.
