Job summary

FedEx is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and manage day‑to‑day operations with an assigned staff. You will oversee package handers and admin staff, ensuring compliant processes and efficient sortation within the facility.

You will hire, coach, train, and evaluate performance, escalate issues as needed, and lead safety initiatives while adapting to dynamic business needs. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in supervisory roles in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to train and coach staff and lead safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise package handlers and other staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation.
• Hire, coach, evaluate performance, and address employee concerns.
• Plan and direct day‑to‑day operations and staff assignments.
• Monitor metrics, analyze data, and drive improvements.
• Lead safety programs and enforce FXG policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily meetings and communicate updates to teams.
