FedEx Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation, staff management, and safety initiatives in a fast-paced facility. You will hire, coach, train, and evaluate staff while upholding FedEx policies and regulatory requirements.

You will analyze performance metrics, lead team meetings, mentor junior supervisors, and drive improvements in operational quality and cost control. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles in fast-paced environments.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college toward a degree.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower a team; strong communication and leadership.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze numerical data and written information.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, terminate, coach, train, recognize, evaluate, discipline, and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages and manage trailers with operations and linehaul coordination.
• Lead daily staff meetings and effectively communicate updates and goals to diverse audiences.
• Develop and administer employee relations strategies and safety programs; maintain confidentiality.
