FedEx Corporation is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor for the Onsite Outbound sort. You will lead a team to ensure safe, efficient package sortation, manage staffing, and drive performance improvements in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor supervisors, deliver training, and uphold FXG policies while coordinating with other departments. This role requires strong communication and adaptability in a dynamic logistics setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses towards a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Hire, terminate, coach, train, recognize and reward staff; evaluate performance and manage personnel.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages; coordinate trailers with linehaul as applicable.
• Analyze performance through observations and reports; drive action plans to improve key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate updates and daily goals; speak to small and large audiences as needed.
• Develop and administer safety and employee-relations programs and training compliance.
