Job summary

Sunoco LP in Linden, NJ seeks a Supervisor for the Day Shift to oversee receipt and storage operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and supervise staff across multiple transport methods. You will train employees, prepare reports, and coordinate with contractors to maintain safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 8 years in product movement/operations and strong leadership, with a focus on safety, documentation, and timely performance under shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience in product movement and/or operations and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Safety and hazard training as well as spill response training for pipeline and marine preferred
• Supervisory or management experience with customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and environmental matters related to receipt and storage of customer products.
• Supervises employees and assigns tasks fairly.
• Trains and develops department staff.
• Performs daily inspections and prepares status reports.
• Operates equipment and prepares analyses and reports.
• Delivers reports and requisitions to management and internal/external teams.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and reduces risk to safety and environment.
• Improves operations efficiency and profitability through maintained processes.
• Coordinates contractor activities and ensures safety policies are followed
