Job summary

Kinder Morgan Perth Amboy Terminal seeks a Field Supervisor to directly supervise the union workforce performing bulk liquid and dry bulk product movements 24/7. You will oversee dock, loading racks, pipelines and coordination with the Control Room to ensure safe, efficient operations across shifts.

Responsibilities include supervising 4–10 operators, ensuring proper PPE, training, and incident investigations while maintaining regulatory compliance and high performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading union workforce in a heavy industrial setting.
• Ability to manage field operations for a shift of 4–10 personnel.
• Strong safety mindset and PPE adherence under company programs.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Good time management and organizational skills; reliable attendance.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field operations for a shift of 4–10 terminal operators.
• Coordinate product movements with the Control Room and schedule staff.
• Ensure safe and efficient dock operations and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Conduct daily safety walks and participate in Safety, Quality, and Environmental processes.
• Provide training and coaching to operations personnel and review procedures.
• Maintain and inspect dock, loading racks, conveyors, and pipelines for safe operation.
