Job summary

Sunoco LP seeks a Terminal Operator to manage the receipt and shipment of asphalt and petroleum products by barge, rail, pipeline, and truck. Responsibilities include maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and assisting in operations as directed by the Terminal Manager.

The role requires minimal experience with a strong emphasis on safety training, documentation, and accuracy in reporting. Physical duties include climbing, lifting, and operating loading equipment in a fast-paced terminal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• TWIC Card eligibility preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Answers after-hour calls (24/7).
• Manage valve alignments and store/handle products safely.
• Prepare inventory reports using the Terminal Automation System.
• Forward inventory/accounting reports to Sunoco personnel.
• Ensure customers have throughput/inventory information.
