Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Field Supervisor at the Perth Amboy Terminal in New Jersey to directly supervise the union workforce responsible for terminal product movements, which may involve tanks, ships, railcars, trucks or pipelines. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and maintaining a zero-incident goal.

You will report to the Field Operations Manager, coordinate with the Control Room, schedule and supervise a crew of 4–10 operators, review procedures, conduct daily safety

Qualifications

• Experience leading a union workforce in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Proven ability to manage safety, quality and environmental programs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a shift of Terminal Operators (4–10 personnel).
• Coordinate product movements with the Control Room and maintain expeditious dock operations.
• Ensure personnel are trained, qualified, and follow safety procedures; supervise permits and JHA submissions.
• Conduct daily safety walks/talks and participate in Safety, Quality, and Environmental processes.
• Lead incident investigations and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Oversee field assets and ensure regulatory compliance; report shortcomings.
