Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking a Supervisor, Operations to coordinate and supervise daily production activities in a manufacturing environment. You will lead a technical team, set priorities, assign tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, coaching staff, collaborating with other departments, and driving continuous improvement to meet production targets and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, wire and cable.
• Leadership experience with direct reports is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Set priorities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet targets.
• Develop and implement operational policies and best practices.
• Coach and develop staff, providing training and feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve issues.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
