Southwire Company in Georgia is seeking an Operations Supervisor (Quality Assurance) to lead daily production activities, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and guide a skilled team toward meeting production targets.

You will implement best practices, mentor staff, coordinate with other departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to sustain operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma.
• 5-7 Years of experience in industrial manufacturing, wire and cable.
• Experience supervising a production or technical team.

Responsibilities

• Administers daily operations, overseeing team activities and productivity.
• Advises team on procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations.
• Assists manager in developing and implementing strategies to meet goals.
• Certifies work complies with industry standards, safety regulations and policies.
• Coaches staff through training, mentorship and performance feedback.
• Coordinates processes among team members and departments to optimize workflow.
• Evaluates performance and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Leads efficiency improvements through new processes and technology solutions.
• Manages resources to achieve production targets and resolve issues.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement across the operation.
