Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Operations Supervisor. You will coordinate delivery of quality service, supervise staff, and support the Branch Manager to improve safety, productivity, and Rental Flow efficiency while delivering world-class sales and customer service.

You’ll lead by example, train and coach the team, manage day-to-day operations, open/close duties, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years in supervision/leadership.
• Knowledge of construction rental equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist with policy compliance.
• Drive metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts per policy.
• Ensure staff training and compliance with the Rental Flow Process.
• Open/close duties, cash reconciliation, and bank deposits.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety and discipline.
• Other duties as assigned.
