Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, offers an Operations Manager role to lead branch delivery of quality service, drive safety, and maximize productivity. You will work with the Branch Manager to ensure compliant operations and exceptional customer experiences.

This position requires 3+ years in sales and operations, a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Responsible for performance management of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff as applicable.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
