Job summary

You will hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage performance; lead meetings; ensure compliance with FXG policies and procedures; mentor newer supervisors; and partner with linehaul as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handler or supervisory roles or related environment.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college courses toward a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All culture and initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff for safe and efficient sortation and cost control.
• Lead meetings, communicate updates, and present to various audience sizes.
• Develop and administer safety and employee relations programs.
• Train new employees on duties, performance, and FXG policies.
