Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee collections activities across multiple lines of business within a division, driving safety and operational goals while fostering team engagement and growth.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, OSHA 10/30, and US work eligibility; an associate degree and 2-4 years of supervisory experience are preferred. Excellent communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. CDL license clean and OSHA 10/30 card. Eligible to work in the US. Associate degree and 2-4 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the operations team and develops team members to reach individual goals and create a pipeline for advancement.
• Oversees drivers and helpers to ensure safety and operational goals are met.
• Partners with the Operations Manager to implement initiatives for functional excellence and goal achievement.
• Performs onboarding procedures with newly hired drivers to convey Casella’s core values.
• Monitors and coaches drivers’ performance and enforces safety policies and documentation.
• Investigates accidents, disputes, and complaints and ensures proper documentation.
