Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee collections activities, drive safety and efficiency, and develop a capable team across multiple lines of business.

You will collaborate with leadership to implement tactical initiatives and ensure adherence to Casella’s core values while fostering professional growth. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, OSHA 10/30, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL license and OSHA 10/30 certification required.
• Associate degree and 2–4 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and computer skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the operations team and develops team members to meet goals and create advancement opportunities.
• Oversees drivers and helpers to ensure safety and goal attainment.
• Collaborates with Operations and Division Managers to implement initiatives for operational excellence.
• Conducts onboarding for new drivers to align with Casella's core values.
• Monitors driver performance and coaching needs and ensures policy compliance.
• Investigates accidents, disputes, and complaints with proper documentation.
• Develops logistic plans to reduce route hours and improve density and efficiency.
• Participates in training and other learning opportunities to support company missions.
