Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee collections teams, ensuring safety and efficiency across routes. The role focuses on developing talent, coaching performance, and delivering operational goals within the Casella framework.

The candidate will work with management to implement tactical initiatives, onboard new drivers, and drive density improvements while upholding Casella’s values and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clean CDL required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 card required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2–4 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the operations team and develops team members to reach goals and create advancement pipelines.
• Oversees drivers and helpers to ensure safety and goals are met.
• Collaborates with Operations/Division Managers to drive initiatives and efficiency.
• Onboards newly hired drivers to reinforce Casella’s core values.
• Coaches performance and coaching needs to ensure policy compliance.
• Investigates accidents, disputes, and customer/driver complaints per policy.
