Job summary

Roadrunner in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to translate network strategy into daily dock, freight and terminal execution. You will oversee load planning, freight handling, and linehaul coordination to ensure precision, safety, and financial discipline in a fast-paced LTL environment.

This role leads frontline teams, drives safety, budgeting, and process improvements, partners with linehaul contractors and internal teams, and ensures accurate billing, payroll, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of operations/logistics experience.
• Experience in transportation, LTL, warehouse, or service center operations preferred.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate team members.
• Hazmat certification preferred; forklift certification a plus.
• Strong numeric and analytical skills to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Execute dock and terminal operations with precision.
• Oversee daily dock operations including load planning, freight handling, and linehaul coordination.
• Ensure freight is processed with proper routing, documentation, and data entry.
• Maintain high load quality, minimize damages and incidents.
• Provide real-time feedback and develop frontline teams.
• Drive safety, compliance, and risk management across the site.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to optimize flow.
• Ensure billing, rating, payroll, and admin tasks are completed accurately.
