Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Milwaukee, WI to lead daily dock, freight, and terminal operations in a fast-paced LTL environment. You will translate network strategy into execution, balancing throughput with cost control and upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of relevant operations or logistics experience
• Experience in transportation, LTL, warehouse, or service center operations preferred
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and evaluate team members
• Safety protocols, compliance standards, Hazmat handling preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute dock and terminal operations with precision
• Oversee daily dock operations including load planning and linehaul coordination
• Ensure freight is processed accurately with routing, documentation, and data entry
• Maintain high standards for load quality, damages, and safety incidents
• Lead frontline teams and provide coaching and accountability
• Drive safety, compliance, and risk management
• Coordinate with linehaul contractors and internal teams to ensure seamless movement
• Communicate effectively with corporate teams, customers, and partners
