Treeswift is hiring a Business Operations Associate to join a small, high-performing team responsible for operational systems and cross-functional workstreams that keep the company running and enable it to scale. You will report to the Head of Business Operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of full-time experience in strategy, finance, or operations at a fast-growing technology company.
• Strong quantitative and spreadsheet skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to turn messy information into concise, decision-ready output.
• Exceptional organization and follow-through across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• High agency and resourcefulness with the ability to work without perfect instructions.
• Sound judgment about when to make a recommendation, when to ask a question, and when to elevate issues.
• Discretion working with confidential financial, legal, people, customer, or company information.
• Willingness to handle both analytical work and detailed operational follow-through.
• Comfort with rapid context switching in a fast-moving environment with high accountability.
• Experience with regulated industries, hardware, infrastructure, utilities, or government-adjacent work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational workflows across finance, legal, people operations, vendor management, and internal systems, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
• Build analyses, financial models, dashboards, and decision materials to support budgeting, hiring, vendor, and strategic decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects from kickoff to completion, driving alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
• Improve the way we operate by documenting processes, building lightweight automations, and identifying opportunities to make workflows more efficient.
• Manage and maintain core business systems (e.g. Notion, Justworks, Google Drive) with a focus on accuracy, organization, and scalability.
• Take ownership of high-priority, fast-moving projects across the business, using sound judgment to solve problems and drive results with increasing independence.
