Job summary

McGriff Specialty, a division of Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), is seeking an Operations Specialist on the Offshore Business Operations Team in Employee Health and Benefits. You will guide teammates and vendors, support growth, and manage projects to improve efficiency and client service.

The role emphasizes process improvement, adherence to quality standards, and delivering against SLAs and KPIs. Hybrid work is available, with emphasis on professional development.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education.
• Three years of experience within the Employee Health and Benefits industry.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Responsibilities

• Write, update and train on Standard Operating Procedures.
• Uphold quality standards by ensuring that processes and product output meet regulatory and internal control requirements, track quality metrics, recommend improvements, and guide the business on quality control issues.
• Analyze feedback, propose actions, create reports and presentations for ad‑hoc reporting.
• Support management teams and processes for continuous improvement of efficiency and quality within the team.
• Contribute to the achievement of Operations team Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and business objectives.
• Manage and prioritize own workload to meet individual SLA, KPI and quality targets.
• Disseminate information and coordinate projects, leveraging best practices to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant insurance and related legislation.
