Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education.
• Three years of experience within the Employee Health and Benefits industry.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Responsibilities

• Write, update and train on Standard Operating Procedures.
• Uphold quality standards by ensuring that processes and product output meet regulatory and internal control requirements, track quality metrics, recommend improvements, and guide the business on quality control issues.
• Analyze feedback, propose actions, create reports and presentations for ad‑hoc reporting.
• Support management teams and processes for continuous improvement of efficiency and quality within the team.
• Contribute to the achievement of Operations team Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and business objectives.
• Manage and prioritize own workload to meet individual SLA, KPI and quality targets.
• Disseminate information and coordinate projects, leveraging best practices to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant insurance and related legislation.

Job Overview

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals. As an Operations Specialist on the Offshore Business Operations Team in the Employee Health and Benefits area, you will provide guidance to teammates and third‑party vendors, support firm growth and success, and manage projects aimed at meeting operational goals, adding efficiency, and driving excellence in client service and agency operations.

Salary & Compensation

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. The position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
