Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Scheduling Manager to oversee planning and coordination of rigging, crating and logistics. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in supply chain or logistics preferred.
• Minimum of three years scheduling experience in logistics or related field.
• Knowledge of rigging and equipment movement is highly preferred.
• Ability to create high-level master schedules for regional scope.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all staff levels.
• Strong project management with coordinating multiple schedules and resources.
• Proven problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
• Knowledge of inter/intra-state transportation and DOT requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling team development and execution of sales plans aligned with company goals.
• Plan and schedule work crews and equipment considering travel, load time, and non-job tasks.
• Prepare and maintain Weekly S&OP records and reports.
• Confirm customer project start dates and coordinate readiness of labor and equipment.
• Communicate job start/pause/stop events to crews and dispatch.
• Compile project cost information to support budgeting and evaluation.
• Track milestones, risks, and interdependencies affecting deliverables.
• Organize and distribute job paperwork to crew, accounting, and operations.
• Coordinate dispatch, including equipment from other MEI locations; supervise dispatch staff.
