Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and Accounting Supervisors on large-scale storage, transportation, and rigging projects.

You will maintain inventory records, assist in invoicing, and drive data quality across systems while coordinating with warehouse, field teams, and accounting to ensure timely, accurate documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, project management or related field.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in logistics/supply chain, construction, rigging, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment tracking management and inventory recordkeeping.
• Intermediate computer skills with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and data-analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with warehouse and project managers to verify inventory status and readiness for delivery.
• Ensure storage data accuracy through daily system audits and delivery tickets comparisons.
• Assist in job cost tracking by reconciling PO numbers, serials, and barcodes.
• Support field teams with real-time inventory updates and equipment photos.
• Prepare invoice backup packets for key accounts during month-end billing.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate documentation and SOP adherence.
