Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Columbus, OH is seeking a Superintendent to lead site operations, coordinating with Sales & Operations to plan surveys, schedules and execution. You will oversee rigging, crating and installation crews, drive safety programs and maintain strong customer engagement throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years proven operations management experience in construction/manufacturing/rigging industries.
• Excellent interpersonal, management, supervisory and project management skills.
• Highly self-directed and motivated.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily status and scheduling meetings with customers and address concerns.
• Site visits to gather information for quotes and relay to Sales/Sales Admin.
• Develop, plan and implement schedules for rigging crews aligned with customer direction.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and workforce to meet goals for volume, cost, quality, safety and schedule.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, training, and performance of rigging, crating, and installation crews.
• Develop and instruct crews in best practices with emphasis on safety.
• Coordinate safety training, investigations and reporting with safety personnel.
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners and support staff.
