Champion Home Builders, Inc. seeks a Corporate Operations Specialist to drive manufacturing excellence across multiple facilities. The role focuses on hands-on coaching, lean execution, and continuous improvement to optimize production flow and quality.

The position reports to the Regional Director, entails high travel (up to 80%), and offers exposure to strategic plant turnarounds. Exempt status and remote work within the US are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, operations management, manufacturing, or related field.
• 4–8 years in manufacturing/operations leadership in high-volume environments.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, line balancing, and continuous improvement tools.
• Ability to coach and influence frontline staff without direct authority.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Regional Directors to improve operational performance across multiple facilities.
• Spend ~50% of time on the manufacturing floor coaching production teams and supervisors.
• Apply Lean practices to off-site homebuilding operations for process improvements.
• Identify bottlenecks and perform structured root cause analysis to improve line velocity and throughput.
• Strengthen in-process quality controls and inspection gates.
• Coach Production Managers on labor management, daily execution, and accountability.
• Progress toward leading plant turnarounds and regional continuous improvement initiatives.
