Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all activities related to operations and development of company products in the Decatur, IN region.

The role involves managing production planning, quality control, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective operations. The candidate will lead a team, develop manufacturing process plans, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while driving efficiency and

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel).
• Ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to key personnel.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Competencies including conflict management, business negotiation, organization and decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and five to seven years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
• Provides input to the development of product strategy and R&D of new and emerging products.
• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinates manufacturing activities with other functions and suppliers to optimize production and utilization of resources.
• Trains and ensures staff comply with policies, procedures, and regulations.
