Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans including program requirements, labor hours, cycle times, production costs, and capacity.
• Provides input to product strategy and R&D of new and emerging products.
• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budgets and cost controls, and tracks delivery dates.
• Guides development of manufacturing process plans, including personnel, material, subcontract, facility, tooling needs.
• Ensures all costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinates manufacturing activities with other functions and suppliers for optimum resource use.
• Reviews production and operating data and resolves operational, maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Trains and ensures staff comply with policies, procedures, and regulations.
