Job summary

CentroMotion is seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Wisconsin, driving year-over-year improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role champions LEAN initiatives and World Class manufacturing across the facility.

The candidate will utilize data-driven processes to set standards, coordinate with maintenance and unions, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business plans and forecasts. Strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years of proven success managing plant operations in a world-class manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using business systems to access information and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data driven processes to achieve key performance goals meeting manufacturing requirements and customer satisfaction.
• Develop world-class operational standards for visual metrics on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory.
• Make effective decisions on resource utilization, hiring/training, and capital investments.
• Own and improve safety and support HSSE goals like Goal Zero.
• Coordinate with maintenance and subcontractors to keep equipment safe and in top order.
• Collaborate with union leadership to manage daily operations and apply collective bargaining agreements.
• Drive Lean/World Class manufacturing to increase output and reduce costs.
• Develop Lean strategy and plan with Lean Coordinator(s), using 5S, TPM, SMED to drive discipline.
• Create Standard Work and documentation, improve processes with work instructions and visual management.
• Support ISO 9000 processes and coordinate preventative measures; use root-cause methods (5-Why, 8D) to solve problems.
• Maintain relationships with Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain to support manufacturing objectives.
• Participate in staff development and succession planning.
