Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking a housing operations assistant to help manage Catalyst service location, providing interim housing and supporting residents toward independent housing.

Role includes safeguarding, coordinating services with case management, and maintaining records. Requires a high school diploma, driver’s license, and ability to work varying shifts including nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership, management, and administrative skills.
• Ability to compassionately interact with mentally ill, substance abusers and homeless people.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of residents, staff, and volunteers.
• Oversee operations tasks during shift, front desk, mail, donations, and phones.
• Refer residents to social services and coordinate with case management.
• Respond to resident complaints.
• Maintain internal databases and complete intake forms for reports.
• Conduct hourly facility walks and manage building operations.
• Handle crises and emergencies as needed.
• Document significant events in daily log.
