Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking a collaborative Respite team member to assist clients in the House of Charity’s Respite program. The role focuses on social determinants of health by guiding clients through education and opportunities for independent living.

You will coordinate admissions, track attendance, and support discharge planning while maintaining client confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, WAC, and funder requirements. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field and one year of relevant experience; OR an AA Degree with 3 years of relevant experience; OR 5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive for work use; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intakes with local hospitals, clinics, and providers and prepare beds for Respite clients.
• Enter daily attendance and complete service notes in required databases.
• Complete intakes, enrollments, discharge plans, and exits per WAC, funder, and internal requirements.
• Assist respite clients in independent living skill-building, including financial and life-skills coaching.
• Maintain client files per funder requirements and ensure HMIS data is current.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field

AA Degree with 3 years of relevant experience in direct client services

5 years of relevant experience in direct client services
