Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join the Los Alamos National Laboratory project in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The role is full-time and on-site, supporting project activities and documentation while emphasizing safety, security, and quality.

You will assist with procurement, scheduling, records, and cost tracking, coordinating across teams and organizations to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

Qualifications

• Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for project activities and deliverables.
• Assist with procurement activities and coordinate with appropriate supporting organizations.
• Support resource scheduling and coordination among project personnel.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation in accordance with Laboratory requirements.
• Assist with budget and cost tracking activities.
• Coordinate information and follow-up between project personnel, management, and supporting organizations.
• Assist with procedure revisions and updates.
• Support process improvement initiatives and implementation of established processes.
• Track issues, action items, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Help ensure required documentation and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, security, quality, and accountability.
