GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

This full-time position is based on-site, overseeing technical construction scope and ensuring compliance with nuclear security and DOE/NNSA/NQA-1 requirements throughout initiation, planning, and turnover. The role requires coordination with engineering, security, and operations teams, managing budgets, schedules, and risks, and reporting to the Manager of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited institution and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship due to federal nature of work.
• Active or recently active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Extensive experience working within strict nuclear security and classification environments.
• Nuclear facility or laboratory experience with DOE/NNSA/NQA-1 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage discrete technical construction scope to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee technical requirements.
• Define and manage deliverables, budgets, schedules, risks; support or lead planning and turnover.
• Align activities with DOE/NNSA/NQA-1 413.3B requirements.
• Report to Manager of Projects and handle day-to-day project operations.
• Develop and evaluate policies and standards for construction in a nuclear facility.
• Support budget development and provide technical guidance to teams.
