Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Richland, WA. The role focuses on managing construction scope, schedules, deliverables, budgets, and risk within strict nuclear and DOE/NNSA requirements.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate with radiological control and safety offices, and drive turnover from initiation through project closeout. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship due to government work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
• Prior nuclear facility or laboratory experience with DOE/NNSA security protocols.
• Experience with NQA-1 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage discrete technical construction scope and ensure timely completion.
• Oversee technical requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks.
• Lead planning, tracking, and execution from initiation through turnover.
• Align activities with DOE/NNSA and NNSA 413.3B requirements.
• Organize work into controlled accounts and work packages.
• Support budgets and provide technical guidance to project teams.
