Job summary

Hillyard, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for the Mesa, AZ location to lead the Operations team. The role focuses on continuous improvement, safety initiatives, cost control, and collaboration with sales and regional teams.

The person will coach employees, oversee Customer Service, Warehouse, Delivery, and Service, manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and serve as a key liaison with vendors and the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4-6 years’ experience or training in a related field.
• Forklift certification, or ability to attain within 1 year.
• Superior Communication Skills.
• Demonstrated Leadership.
• Excellent Understanding of 5S Principles.
• Superior Troubleshooting Skills.
• Computer Literacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of Customer Service, Warehouse, Delivery, and Service functions.
• Participate in hiring and payroll processes for staff.
• Provide coaching on continuous improvement and 5S principles.
• Support employee development and give feedback on performance.
• Develop partnership with the sales team and facilitate regular meetings.
• Engage with regional team to develop and execute strategic inventory and cost-control initiatives.
• Attend customer meetings and serve as SME for local operations.
• Manage annual operations budget and monitor KPIs.
