Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Burlington, VT is seeking an Assistant Operating Director to join our leadership team. You will report to the Operating Director and oversee in‑office staff, scheduling, and administrative operations, while sharing on-call duties with other managers.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, comfort with technology, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will coordinate with Home Base and clients to ensure service quality and compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates and/or Bachelor Degree; may substitute with education/experience; two years’ admin/HR/management experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support office managers to ensure performance and alignment with standards.
• Serve as primary liaison between the office and Home Base, including payroll notes and shift verification.
• Handle client escalations, conduct check-up calls, and perform quality visits.
• Ensure compliance with state supervisory visit requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation after hours as needed.
• Backup for client assessments when the Operations Director is unavailable.
