Job summary

PDS Health in California is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to gain the skills and knowledge to independently run a financially viable dental office. You will complete the OM Development Program while being supported by your supervisor and aim to manage a team in 4–6 months.

You will learn structured curriculum, on-the-job application, and development meetings to prepare for leadership and operational excellence within the PDS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management
• Operations Manager Trainee must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Driver’s license must be verified by motor vehicle record check at time of hire
• Must travel to multiple offices daily with reliable transportation
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and is subject to change
• In lieu of a license, reliable alternate transportation allowed

Responsibilities

• Modeling company culture, values, standards and best operational practices
• Assessment, hiring and retention of right fit team members through training and coaching
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely, effective solutions
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with consistency with Owner Dentist
• Drive year over year revenue and profit growth
• Manage expenses to achieve monthly goals and budget
• Show proficiency with cash management and accounting protocols
• Develop and mentor team to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance feedback to team members
• Maintain professional appearance and communication with supervisors
• Understand People-related tools, resources and processes
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory bodies
• Report weekly to Regional Manager on progress and goals
• Demonstrate leadership and team development by end of program
• Develop and implement an office success plan for efficient operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
