Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks an Operations Manager to lead the Utility and Infrastructure Traffic and Open Space team. You will supervise traffic systems, roadways, parking, and open space operations, coordinating safety and ESH&Q compliance across the UI Division.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or equivalent, with strong leadership and reporting abilities. You will also manage snow removal and participate in off-hours UI duty coverage.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of traffic and transportation systems and grounds maintenance.
• Experience conducting critiques, root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Strong relationship management and HR administration experience.
• Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, technical direction and oversight of UI Division activities in traffic system, roadways, parking lots, open space and supervision teams.
• Ensure functions such as ESH&Q, Engineering and Maintenance deliver expected performance for safe operations.
• Manage LANL Snow Removal program and participate in UI Duty Officer program for off-hours operations.
